ABOUT KATRINA WAN
Katrina Wan, a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, is an esteemed public relations professional in the entertainment industry - managing successful publicity campaigns for both studio and independent films: "The Incredibles," "Pirates of the Caribbean," 2011 Academy Award Best Foreign Film Nominee “Bullhead," John Ridley’s "Jimi: All Is By My Side” with Andre Benjamin, the critically acclaimed “Miss Juneteenth” directed by Channing Godfrey Peoples, “Paint” starring Owen Wilson, Panos Cosmatos’ “Mandy” starring Nicolas Cage, the box office sleeper hit “Terrifier 2” and Kevin Smith’s “Clerks 3” and “Jay and Silent Bob Reboot."
Founding KATRINA WAN PR, a woman, LGBTQIA+ and Asian American-owned public relations company in 2011, Katrina has steadily grown her companyto spearhead strategic public relations campaigns for studios such as Amazon, Lionsgate, Paramount, Blumhouse TV, MGM, Universal Pictures Content Group, IFC Films, Shudder, AMC+, Bleecker Street Media, Samuel Goldwyn Films, Magnolia Pictures/Magnet Releasing, DECAL, XYZ Films, amongst others.
Prior to KATRINA WAN PR, Katrina served as vice president of publicity for Capitol/ THINKFilm and as executive director of worldwide publicity and communications for Nu Image/Millennium Films/First Look Studios.
Before joining Nu Image/MillenniumFilms/FirstLook Studios, Katrina served as a film talent executive/segment producer at E! Entertainment where she produced film news segments for E! News and The Daily 10, as well as various 30-minute film specials.
Katrina started her career at The Walt Disney Company/Buena Vista Pictures' national publicity department, working on theatrical and awards campaigns.
She graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in public relations.
