ABOUT KATRINA WAN
Katrina Wan is an esteemed public relations professional in the entertainment industry, managing successful publicity campaigns for both blockbuster and critically acclaimed independent films from "The Incredibles" and "Pirates of the Caribbean" to 2011 Academy Award Best Foreign Film Nominee "Bullhead" and to John Ridley’s "Jimi: All Is By My Side." Her versatility as a major and independent studio publicist makes her one of the industry's most respected executives.
Founding KATRINA WAN PR in 2011 to give independent films a voice in the marketplace, Katrina has steadily grown her company to spearhead strategic public relations campaigns.
Prior to founding KATRINA WAN PR, Katrina served as vice president of publicity for Capitol/ THINKFilm and executive director of worldwide publicity and communications for Nu Image/Millennium Films/First Look Studios.
Before joining Nu Image/MillenniumFilms/FirstLook Studios, Katrina also served as a film talent executive/segment producer at E! Entertainment where she produced film news segments for E! News and The Daily 10, as well as various 30-minute film specials including Live From The Red Carpet: Pirates of the Caribbean, Jennifer Aniston: Derailed on E! and Lindsay Lohan: Just My Luck.
Katrina started her career at Buena Vista Pictures' national publicity department, working on theatrical and awards campaigns for "The Incredibles" and "Pirates of the Caribbean." She also worked on the sleeper hits "The Pacifier" and "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy."
Katrina graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in public relations.
